EVP Definition and Expression

The EVP will form the basis for all employment related communications, both inside and outside the organization for three to five years. It is a critical strategic document that we believe is best developed in close partnership with our clients, in particular HR, marketing/PR and senior management stakeholders.

The process we follow is a tried and trusted method for arriving at a strategic EVP and brand positioning. We will explain the process in detail in meetings with your team, but the main points are:

  • Use insights to focus on the core brand attributes of your employment offering
  • Develop a draft EVP and initial creative expression of the brand
  • Test the draft EVP with key employee talent groups
  • Hold workshops with senior management and key talent sectors
  • Develop communications strategy
  • Develop messaging matrix - ‘tuning’ the attributes to appeal to different audiences and stakeholders
  • Refine and produce final creative elements
  • Roll-out brand
  • Produce KPIs and measure performance
  • Review and further refinement
